On one of the groups we are in the were discussing rifles they had never shot. Years ago I built a display full auto rifle for the SAR show. This started life as a 7.62 SLR-100H bare receiver. At that time there were NO 5.56 milled rifles in the country. I conned Arsenal out of a stock set and one of the early lighted fore ends. I had a 5.56 Krink kit. I also had one of the ambi safety and grip set ups too. Below is what I came up with. I did modernized dimpled selector markings. I was in such a tight timeline I never shot it after assembly. When I got home from the show I hung it on the wall and never have shot it. The only thing it lacks is the left side rear sling swivel. I have it but have not installed it.
