Here we have a registered Short Barreled Rifle. It was built by another gunsmith and would not function. It was then sent to another smith twice to fix that problem. Needless to say it was not fixed. Galil test fired, coated and waiting on UPS. I’m really digging the South African R4 front sight. Makes for quicker acquisition.

This kit also has an odd gas tube. It has a mount of some kind soldered on. I’ll post a pic of it tomorrow.
Assembled the barreled action before I found the issue with the front sight. It had been soldiered on. The grooves for the sight spring were blocked and the dove tail was bent or something. I’ll dig into that a bit more tomorrow then test fire.
