Here we have removed the front trunnion from the cut receiver shell and scrubbed the old serial numbers.

Found an oddity in these parts. I was setting up to cut the clearance on the selector stop plate. This plate is too thin to cut. It did reflect on the latch itself. The latch had to be shortened since the plate was thinner.

Some pics of a really nice Russian 1988 Izzy AK-74 with plum furniture. We welded up the barrel attachments and dimpled them. The originals were pinch welded.
