Here we have set and installed the rivets in the front trunnion. Notice the crushed head is the right diameter. It should be 1 and a half the diameter of the rivet shaft. Also we had to drill the hole for the front latch pin.

Here we have removed the front trunnion from the cut receiver shell and scrubbed the old serial numbers.
Found an oddity in these parts. I was setting up to cut the clearance on the selector stop plate. This plate is too thin to cut. It did reflect on the latch itself. The latch had to be shortened since the plate was thinner.
